When aircraft touch down or taxi across your airfield, your markings communicate before anyone speaks a word. Clear, precise airport markings are critical for safe navigation on runways and taxiways - they guide pilots and ground crew on airfields, keep operations moving safely, and ensure your facility meets every FAA requirement. At Infinity Line Co., we provide professional airport marking services backed by more than 35 years of experience in pavement marking and surface work.
We work with commercial airports, general aviation facilities, military airfields, municipal airports, and FBOs that need markings done right and on schedule. Whether your runway markings have faded, your taxiway markings need updating for compliance, or your facility requires a full marking layout on fresh pavement, we bring the expertise to handle it with confidence. From runway centerline markings and touchdown zone markings to holding position markings, taxiway centerline markings, enhanced taxiway centerline applications, and specialized helipad and VOR receiver checkpoint markings, we help create safer, better-organized airfields.
Our Airport Marking Services
Airports require a range of marking types, each governed by specific dimensional standards and placement rules. We provide complete airfield marking solutions covering every paved surface your facility operates on.
-
Our runway marking services cover every element pilots rely on for safe approach, landing, and departure. This includes runway centerline marking, runway threshold markings that indicate the beginning of a runway, aiming point markings that serve as a visual aiming point for landing aircraft, touchdown zone markings, runway side stripe markings that define the edges of a runway, and runway designation numbers. We ensure every designator, stripe, and zone marker is positioned to FAA specifications.
-
Our taxiway marking services ensure organized, predictable ground movement across your airfield. Taxiway centerline markings are solid yellow lines with black outlines, providing continuous path guidance. We install taxiway edge markings - double yellow lines that define the usable taxiway pavement - along with taxiway shoulder markings where pavement extends beyond the operational surface. At every intersecting taxiway, we apply clear directional guidance so pilots navigating between the airport traffic control tower instructions and their assigned route can do so without hesitation.
-
Runway holding position markings are among the most safety-critical markings on any airfield. These consist of two solid lines and two dashed yellow lines - solid lines on the side where aircraft must hold, dashed line on the runway side. We install the applicable holding position marking at every taxiway-runway intersection, along with ILS critical area boundary markings for facilities operating an instrument landing system (ILS).
-
Beyond standard runway and taxiway work, we handle specialty markings that many airfield contractors overlook. This includes helicopter landing areas - heliports have a red 'H' marking - VOR receiver checkpoint markings identified by a painted circle on the airport apron, vehicle roadway markings that delineate vehicle roadway paths crossing movement areas, and closed runway markings using yellow 'X' signs. We also apply surface painted location signs, blast pad markings, and any custom stencil work your airport operator determines is necessary for safe operations.

Featured Project: Airport
Some projects call for more than standard traffic paint on a landing and takeoff area. At a regional airport facility, we completed a full precision runway re-marking project using thermoplastic materials to meet the specific durability and retroreflectivity requirements of the site. The scope included runway centerline marking across the full remaining runway length, threshold markings, touchdown zone markings, aiming point bars, and all associated taxiway direction signs placement markings.
The project also included re-marking every taxiway intersection with updated holding position markings and installing enhanced taxiway centerline markings on the primary taxiway serving the departure end runway designation area. All work was completed during overnight operational windows with coordination through the facility's air traffic control, keeping the airport operational throughout the project. The thermoplastic application provided significantly longer service life compared to standard waterborne paint, reducing the facility's remarking frequency from annual to approximately every three to five years.
